§ Getting started

Generate with AI

Upload your course material or write a prompt and let Assessium draft an assessment you can refine in the editor.

The Assessment composer is the fastest way to start. Add your source material, optionally describe what you want, choose a few options, and Assessium streams a draft straight into the editor.

What you can upload

  • Source files in PDF, DOCX, PPTX, TXT, or Markdown.
  • Up to 5 files per draft, 10 MB per file, and 25 MB in total.
  • You can also skip files and generate from instructions alone.

What you can tune before generating

  • Instructions — focus areas, tone, or topics to emphasise (optional).
  • Question count — between 1 and 50.
  • Difficulty — easy, medium, hard, or mixed.
  • Assessment type — quiz, exam, assignment, or practice.
  • Question types — multiple choice, multiple select, true/false, and short answer.
note

AI drafts are a starting point. Always review the questions, answer key, and marks in the editor before publishing.
